This is why from quoting through to after-sales support we involve our customers throughout the entire process, providing complete transparency on where your money is spent.

Our aim is to provide our customers a tailored solution which includes ensuring we provide the best service, at the best price, with the highest quality equipment and work possible.

Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Broadcast (ADS-B) will replace New Zealand’s radar surveillance network by December 2021.

ADS-B is a modern, more accurate surveillance system which allows for better air traffic control, more precise positioning information in an emergency and improved situational awareness between different aircraft within the airspace.

The CAA is mandating that any aircraft flying in controlled airspace (either below or above flight level 245) in New Zealand must be equipped with a compliant ADS-B OUT navigation system by the end of 2021. With many General Aviation aircraft operating in New Zealand, there may be a backlog of installations as we get closer to the 2021 deadline – meaning it’s best not to delay, but to take action now.

The great news is, you may be entitled to apply for an ADS-B grant, whereby the CAA will help fund the costs of your ADS-B installation. However, this funding is on a “first come, first served” basis so it’s an even better reason not to wait to find out what you need to do.

Get in touch with our team today via our online form to discuss your ADS-B needs, from expert advice through to a fully tailored installation solution.

We are proud to represent a wide range of leading avionics brands allowing us to not only deliver the world leading technology but at the most competitive prices with our range of dealership and service centre agreements.
